At 10.30 – we gathered all after Sasa arrived and we start the event. Basic Casting Demo was held by Djordje Andjelkovic. An interesting demo, with accent on body movements as the casting base foundation. After a short brake we get into the main day subject – Presentation Casting – demo and workshop where we learn how to cast with improved precision for the target casting competition.
Looking at Distance Casting – we learn how to optimize the distance using the vertical position of the rod with a late hawl or double hawl just before stop.
So, some lines where put to work in a remote sandy beach part, because of the tough wind conditions.
Arround 15.00 hour we start the casting competition where our instructors where in the jury and they coordinate the entire proces. In the contest jury was present the Competitions vice-president of Romanian FFF Mr. Luca Moga, that help us in arbitrating the competitors.

The competition had 20 de participants from Deva, Baia de Aries, Lugoj, Tirgu Mures and Timisoara, so we can say that it is a national competition. Sadly or colleagues from Sibiu had to leave before competition cause of the long distance drive home.

The competition was made in a strong wind conditions, So the instructors decision was to set-up the place with wind behind (to help beginners).

We had 2 rows: Precision Casting with Dry Fly andi Wet Fly, 5 pcs 60 cm targets posed in place under ICSF standards, and Distance Casting with 5 casts, the longest was marked. As we decide we had a style competiton too, the 2 instructors decide the first 3 participants in both rows, so:
